About Essence of Nepal : From Himalayas to the plains of Terai

As the name suggests itself, the Essence of Nepal is a one-of-a-kind trip created to provide visitors an opportunity to discover and experience the soul of Nepal: Culture, Nature, and Wildlife. This 17-day trip is a perfect combination of trekking, tour, and wildlife which covers all the diverse geographical regions of Nepal, its wildlife and vegetation, the people living in it, and their culture.

Nepal is home to the world's highest peak, Mt. Sagarmatha/Everest (8848.86 M), and the birthplace of Lord Gautam Buddha. Along with these, it is a geographically and culturally diverse country. There are more than 125 different ethnic groups with their language living in peace and harmony. The diverse natural landscapes of Nepal start from the southern flatlands to the high mountains reaching high as 8848.86 M. All these things are what define Nepal. And to let visitors have a glimpse of what Nepal is really about, our team of experts created this beautiful lifetime trip with extensive research and visits.

The 17-day Essence of Nepal trip kicks off with a 4 days trek to the Pikey Peak (4067 M) to view the world's highest peak, Mt. Everest, along with all the other 8000 meters peaks of Nepal. The trail passes through the beautiful villages of the Sherpa, Magar, Rai, and Tamang where one can get a taste of their warm hospitality, rich culture, and traditions. Trails are often accompanied by beautiful artistic mani walls, chortens, monasteries, and stupas. After the trek, we'll move on to the tour of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, Panauti, and Bathali which are known for their rich culture, arts, architecture, and history. After visiting around for a couple of days, we'll drive to the small and beautiful hill town of Bandipur to spend a night. Then the next morning after breakfast, we'll head out to Lwang Ghalel via Pokhara. It's a Gurung village known for the beautiful houses, the rich culture of the Gurung community, and the beautiful tea garden with splendid views of the Annapurna range. We'll take a short tour of the village, and its tea garden and spend the night in a community homestay which is run by the Mother's group. It'll allow us to see the lifestyle of the villagers from near.

The next stage of our trip will be the plains of Terai. After a delicious breakfast, we'll drive to Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Budhha and a world heritage site. We'll have one and a half-day to explore the holy places around and dive deep into Buddhism. From there, we'll move on to the Bardiya National Park, one of the best places in Nepal, to see the majestic Royal Bengal Tiger. During our 1 and half-day stay, we'll do multiple jungle activities like a Jeep safari, jungle walk, bird watching, and many others. We'll also participate in the cultural programs of the indigenous Tharu communities. And finally, our trip will conclude after a morning flight back to Kathmandu.

Our 17-day Essence of Nepal itinerary is carefully planned by our team of experts ensuring safety with the utmost level of experience. And the good thing, well, it can be customized according to your preferences. Just let us know and we'll help you create your perfect trip itinerary.
