Kathmandu Valley Mountain Biking Tour Itinerary
Itinerary
Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel
One of the members of our company will welcome you at the international airport terminal gate and take you to the hotel. You will have a few hours to rest. Later, in the evening, you will meet with the tour guide in your hotel lobby. He will brief you on the day 2 program.
Day 02: Kathmandu Valley sightseeing with a tour guide
After having breakfast, you will go on a sightseeing tour. You will visit Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhnath Stupa, Swayambhunath, Kathmandu Durbar Square, etc. All of these places are listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. In the evening, you will arrange the required gear. And you will meet your MTB guide as well who will brief you about the biking tour program.
Day 03: Biking to Kakani (2145 M)
After having breakfast and geared up, you will begin riding towards Kakani situated on the northern side of Kathmandu. Biking along the well-made road passing by the countryside, you will reach Kakani. This place will welcome you to beautiful views of mountains like Mt. Annapurna, Mt. Manaslu, Mt. Ganesh Himal, Mt. Langtang, Mt. Gaurishankar, and other numerous Himalayas. You will also get to see the stunning view of Kathmandu Valley from here.
Day 04: Biking to Mulkharka (1855 M)
Today you will ride to Mulkharka, a small beautiful village mostly inhabited by Tamangs. It is located above Sundarijal inside Shivapuri National Park. The route passes through beautiful forests, jeep tracks, and off-road with beautiful scenery of Kathmandu valley.
Day 05: Biking to Chisapani (2165 M)
Today you will ride through the interesting forest trail to Chisopani. it is a classic Helambu trekking route. On the way, you will pass by dense forest and cross Borlang Bhanjyang along with enjoying captivating scenery. Chisopani is a beautiful village where you will get to see the daily lifestyle, culture, and tradition of locals.
Day 06: Biking to Nagarkot ( 2175 M)
Today, you will ride to Nagarkot, one of the most famous holiday spots for Nepalese. Biking along the traffic-free road, you will descend to Jarsing Pauwa. Here, you will have a short picnic. After that, you will continue riding towards Nagarkot where you be welcomed with a marvelous sunset view along with snow-capped mountains.

Day 07: Biking to Dhulikhel (1555 M)
After breakfast, you will begin ascending towards Nala, a Newari village. On the way, you will get to see people from the Brahmin and Chettri community doing their daily chores. Further, biking on a dirt road, you will ascend and make your way to Dhulikhel where you will spend today's night.
Day 08: Biking to Panauti via Namo Buddha (1500 M)
Today you will ride through the beautiful landscape and pass by several villages, and mountain scenery and reach Namo Buddha. It is one of the most sacred Tibetan Buddhist sites in Nepal. You will take lunch here and spend some time enjoying the beautiful view. After then, you will continue riding continues towards Panauti, a beautiful Newari village where you will spend the night. Here, you can visit the holy Indreshwar Mahadev Temple, which is one of the oldest surviving temple in Nepal.
Day 09: Biking to Kathmandu via Lakure Bhanjyang and drive to the hotel
Leaving Panauti, you will follow a small path along the Roshi River. Crossing Madhuban town, you will enter a narrow valley. From here, you will climb up towards Lakhure Bhanjyang from where amazing views of snow-capped mountains and Kathamndu valley can be seen. Spending some time here, you will ride back to the hotel for a night's stay.

Day 10: Free day
Today is a free day for you. You can explore around, taste delicious food, and buy souvenirs. In the evening, you will join the farewell dinner organized by the company.
