About Khopra Danda (Ridge) Trek
The Khopra Danda Trek also known as Khopra Ridge Trek is a 14-day trek that offers marvelous views of the Dhaulagiri and the Annapurna ranges. It is a newly opened trekking route in the Annapurna region, a great alternative to its popular neighboring treks. With few trekkers around this beautiful area, this trek provides an in-depth opportunity to explore and enjoy the views of mountain ranges while passing through paddy fields, and the dense forest of Nepal’s national flower Rhododendron and observe the lifestyle, tradition, and culture mainly of the Gurung and Magar community. The major attractions are Khayer Lake (4600 M), Poon Hill (3210 M), and the traditional villages of the Gurungs and Magars like Swanta, Ghorepani, and Ghandruk. For anyone looking to avoid the crowds of the other popular busy trails of the Annapurna region, it is a perfect choice.
Our Khopra Danda Trek Itinerary starts from Kande following the famous route up to Tadapani.
