About Mardi Himal Trek
The Mardi Himal trek is one of the shortest and amazing trekking routes in the Annapurna region close to Pokhara. It is a newly opened trekking route, which is located east from Annapurna Base Camp and north from Pokhara. This new trekking route is the best option for those trekkers who are looking for an alternative to the busy trails around the Annapurna region. It is a peaceful and enjoyable trail with few trekkers.
The trail continues through the dense forests and arrives at the high camp. This trail crosses rivers, dense rhododendron forests, and small villages along with presenting great panoramic views of Pokhara valley, Machhapuchhre (aka Mt. Fishtail), Annapurna (I, II, III), Annapurna South, Dhaulagiri, Hiunchuli, and Manaslu ranges. The trek starts from Kande after a 1-hour drive from Pokhara and ends at Khoramuk.
