Nepal Visa Information

To get the Tourist Visa for Nepal, there are two ways:
1) You can apply for it at the Nepalese Diplomatic Mission stationed in your country. This type of visa is valid for 6 months. So, you must travel to Nepal within 6 months from the date.
Or,
2) You can obtain it upon arrival at the Immigration Office, TIA(Tribhuvan International Airport) or from the following border entry points under the Department Of Immigration, Nepal:

Kakarvitta, Jhapa (Eastern Nepal)
Birgunj, Parsa (Central Nepal)
Kodari, Sindhupalchowk (Northern Border)
Belhiya, Bhairahawa (Rupandehi, Western Nepal)
Jamuna, Nepalgunj (Banke, Mid-Western Nepal)
Mohana, Dhangadhi (Kailali, Far-Western Nepal)
Gaddachauki, Mahendranagar (Kanchanpur, Far-Western Nepal)

This procedure is simple and takes less time. But there may be some queues during the tourist season.

To obtain the visa on arrival you need to follow these 3 simple steps:  

1st  Step
Fill in ' Arrival Card '
Fill in the Online ‘Tourist Visa Form' ( you can fill it up before your arrival by visiting our official website  Department of Immigration / fill it up using Kiosk machines upon your arrival at the airport).  If you fill it in from the website, you will get a submission Receipt with a barcode, please print it out and bring it along for acquiring a visa. It works for fifteen days only. After then, you will have to fill it up again.
 

2nd  Step  
Pay the bank according to your visa requirement ( 15/30/90 Days) and get the receipt.

While you can pay in many ways (at the visa fees collection counter), we suggest you carry some cash to be on the safe side.

On Arrival Visa Fee according to the preferred duration:
15 Days – 30 USD
30 Days – 50 USD
90 Days – 125 USD

 

3rd Step  
Proceed to the Immigration Desk with your online form,  payment receipts, and passport. And you are ready to go.
