About Lower Dolpo Trek
Lower Dolpo Trek offers an excellent trekking experience in the isolated western region of Nepal. Lower Dolpo Trek begins from the back to back two flights that will take you to Jumla. Jumla is the gateway of the Dolpo Region. From here, you will begin trekking up to the Nawarpani village going through several small villages, alpine forests, crossing numerous streams, and walking along the river. Further, passing by Dho Tarap, you will ascend to the Numala Base camp. The trail then moves to Temche via Danigar. Next day, you will visit sumptuous Shey Phoksundo Lake. On the way, you will get to see excellent views of Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167 M), Mt. Annapurna (8091 M), Mt. Annapurna II (7937 M), Mt. Api (7132 M), Kagmara Ri (5115 M), and other Tibetan mountains.

However, you have to be in good shape to go on this trek. The best time to go on this trek is from the beginning of August to the end of October.
